What we do to support accessibility

  • Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, including the book cover.
  • Build with a logical heading structure and keyboard-navigable links and controls.
  • Design mobile-first so pages work across devices and screen sizes.
  • Use visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We review the Site periodically and work to correct issues as we find them or as they are reported. Some older content or third-party tools embedded in the Site may not yet fully meet every standard, and we are working to improve them over time.
